It only took a year...

Thu Nov 19, 2009, 6:02 PM
  • Mood: Compassion
  • Listening to: Queen-Crazy Little Thing Called Love
  • Reading: Loveless vol. 8
  • Watching: Nothing at the moment
  • Playing: Dragon NaturallySpeaking
To get a diagnosis on my "whatever the hell is wrong with you" problem that slowly ate my ability to type, play video games, draw, write, text, sew, and paint.
I GOT 2.

I doubt anyone outside of immediate family and close friends understands just how happy this makes me.
Does it make sense to be euphoric over being told you can finally deal with what's been tormenting you day in and day out nonstop? To deal with something that progressively got worse?
;_; Thank you awesome doctor!...s? I see way too many.
I have Reynoud's and ulner nerve entrapment. The former explains why I can't hold frozen drinks for a long time without getting freaking cold. o_o BOTH could explain the numbness, but it seems like the former is aggravating the latter.
SO I'M GOING TO GET A CORTISONE SHOT. In the elbow.
And I don't care just how much it hurts. I'm really at that point.
... Darn, I made a pun.

Another Q:
what are your thoughts on furries? i opened a website dealing with AnthroCon and am still not sure what the heck is different between anthropomorphism and cosplay.

please explain.
:iconsizab:
I think the furry culture is rather cute as a whole, disregarding the fetishes people seem to zone in on. It's kind of sad considering every culture has a fetish subculture but everyone has to beat up on the furries.
After all, most of my favorite web comics are made by furreis.

Anthropomorphism is giving human traits to animals, like quadruped animals changing to bipedal, the ability to speak and think like humans, and/or wearing human clothes.
Cosplay is dressing up as these creatures. Cosplaying does not necessarily make you a furry, and being a furry doesn't mean you cosplay.
I would love to attend a fur con someday actually. It sounds fun.

Let me explain why I'm still confused:

There is a convention for furries held every year in one major city in the United States. This convention is called AnthroCon (ask Lucky Coyote for more info), and yet it invites people who are interested in anthros, furries, and cosplay that is related to anthro, ex. dressing up as an anthropomorphic character that you have created.

In short, the above information has left me still confused as to, what a furry is and why people "beat up" on them.

Quick Q:

Are you bi? Don't worry, I'm not prejudiced about that (Note that I read the journal?).

If you are, go ahead and tell me. I won't say anything against.
:iconsizab:
Technically pansexual, bisexual for the benefits of those who haven't heard of pan sexuality.

The difference can be confusing though.

I'm clueless. I've heard of bi, but what is pan?
:iconsizab:
That's what the link is for, silly. XD
If it didn't work just go to the Wikipedia and look it up. The dictionary lies.

I didn't realize there was a link. Anyways, very amusing... I will say nothing more and probably forget it in a few minutes... what were we talking about? XD
